This cocoa has been alkalized , a process that neutralizes the acids in natural cocoa powder and, at the same time, reduces its bitterness by one point. This process is also known as the “Dutch” or Dutch process, as it was a Dutch chocolatier who was responsible for its invention.
This intensifies the color of the cocoa, its flavor and reduces its acidity, also making it more soluble (to dissolve it easily in liquids). Cocoa was cultivated by the Mayans more than 2,500 years ago.
Cocoa comes from the Mayan language: - cac, which means red (in reference to the color of the fruit's skin), and cau, which expresses the ideas of strength and fire.

HOW TO USE: Mix 1-3 teaspoons of cocoa powder with a little milk and heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the rest of the milk and sugar to your taste.
